At S2, we do not utilize a Concession to record the Rent loss of the PEP discount.
What we do instead is edit the “Rent” transaction amount and reduce it by the value of the discount.
- Edit the Rent Charge under Recurring Charges.
- Enter the SUM of (Rent minus 3% PEP Discount).
- I have been seeing lately the following added to the Description: “Rent 3% PEP”. This is a great way to track your PEP residents.
Example:
- Rent is $1175
- PEP Discount is $35.25
- NEW Rent: $1,139.75
