Manual Verifications - for Rental Applications

A Manual Verification may be required due to: (1) Non-US Citizen, or (2) The Applicants Name, Date of Birth, Social Security Number of Cell Phone number do not match the information entered in the Rental Application.  


Manual Verifications is a way to verify that the Applicant is who they are.

  • The only position on the onsite Property Level who now has the permission (rights) to perform a Manual Verification in SafeRent is the Property Manager.  


The following documents must be obtained, verified and uploaded to ResMan under the Application / Application Documents folder.

  1. A valid government-issued photo ID, AND

  2. CheckPointID must have a "Verified/Passed" Status, AND

  3. Their 3 most recent (within the past 90 days) utility bills show the same name and "current" address. The utility bills could be for gas, electricity, water, insurance, mobile, etc.  Junk mail is not allowed, AND

  4. EITHER their original SSN card OR ITIN, OR  the Verification letter from the Social Security Administration, AND

  5. Supplemental Rental Application and supporting documentation (if applicable),

  6. (Optional) their most recent tax return showing the same name and "current" address OR a lease OR a mortgage showing the same name and "current" address


Manual verifications can be completed for All Applicants.  


Additional positions able to complete Manual Verifications:

  • Director of Operations

  • Operations Coordinator

  • Systems Admin

  • VP of Operations
