Which NTV form do I use?

Created by Paul Hoffman, Modified on Tue, Jun 6, 2023 at 12:56 PM by Paul Hoffman

Good afternoon, Leaders.

I hope you are having a fantastic Tuesday.

There are now two separate 3-Day Notices to Vacate (Non-Payment of Rent) in ResMan under Form Letters.

 --> Please note, the Term 3-days is for Texas Properties that are not covered by the CARES Act.  You will use the required number of days based on the CARES Act status, in this case 30-days, or whatever your Local City/County/State may require.

One is for the properties covered under the CARES Act and the other is for all other properties.  Please see the screenshot below.

  • The difference between the two letters is the required verbiage for Federally Backed Loans that are still under portions of the CARES Act.
  • Please review the list of properties below, to ensure you are selecting the correct NTV letter.

If your property is listed below – then you must use the 3 Day NTV – CFBP Notice.

The required verbiage is listed below – is required by our Lender & the CARES Act.

Because of the global COVID-19 pandemic, you may be eligible for temporary protection from eviction under the laws of your State, territory, locality, or tribal area, or under Federal law.

Learn the steps you should take now:

•             Visit www.cfpb.gov/eviction

•             Or call a housing counselor at 800-569-4287

If you have any questions or are having issues generating the letter, please reach out to Joseph or me.  We’re here to help!

Thanks,

With Gratitude;
