Unable to perform function due to "Pending Lease"

This issue can affect the following functions/workflows in ResMan

  1. Enter a Notice to Vacate
  2. Cancel at Notice to Vacate
  3. Complete a Move Out
  4. Cancel a Pending Renewal


This typically occurs because of the following - 

  1. A roommate/spouse was entered in ResMan, but was never moved in or canceled/denied. 
  2. As a result, ResMan sees that there is still a pending lease, and will not allow you to complete the function/workflow process, until the issue is resolved. 


In the example below, the issue here was caused due to the roommate/spouse being added but not moved in before the "renew lease" button was clicked on. 



To fix this, you would do the following:
  •  Click on "here" from the Undo NTV screen,
  •  Click on Rebecca's profile,
  • Click on "change" next to ASpproved under Leasing Workflow
  • Click on "Cancel" and fill out the box. 
 --> Date: select 1st day of current month
--> Reason: Select Cancellation
--> Notes: Enter the reason
  • Then click on the "OK" button. 
  • Go back to the current lease.
  • Now you will be able to cancel the NTV.
