Units: # of Units does not Match

From time to time, we accidentally mark an apartment as "Excluded from Occupancy".  The steps below, show you how to resolve this issue.  

  • Editing "Unit" can only be completed by PropertyManager or higher. 
  • "Change Unit Status" can be completed by Assistant Manager or higher.



Property Summary Report:

Unit Info Report:

In the Search bar of ResMan, you can type in the specific unit #202-8312 and then click on the "Unit"

For this unit, we are going to make two different corrections.

  1. Remove unit "Holding Unit" Designation.
    1. Under “Unit” click on “Edit” Button

  1. On the left-hand side of the window – 
    1. deselect “Holding Unit” and
    2. deselect “Excluded from occupancy.”
    3. Then click on the “OK” button.

  1. Click on “Change Unit Status” to make the following adjustments:

  1. Complete the following fields – as notated below: 
    1. Type: Select “Unit Status”
    2. Unit Status “Not Ready”
    3. Date: enter the 1st date of the Calendar month this is affect.   EX: 11/1/2023
    4. Description: Update Unit Status
    5. Click on the “OK” button.

Re-run the Property Summary to confirm the changes were applied.
