Export usernames and passwords
- Click the menu button
to open the menu panel. - Click . The Firefox about:logins page will open in a new tab.
- Click the menu
icon, then click - A dialog box will appear to remind you that passwords are saved as readable text. Click the button to continue.
- You may be prompted to enter your Primary Password, if enabled, when accessing stored passwords.
- You can choose the file name and location where this exported data will be saved.
Download Bookmarks:
- Click the menu button
to open the menu panel. Click and then click the bar at the bottom. - In the toolbar of the Library window click
Import and Backup and choose from the drop-down menu.
- In the Export Bookmarks File window that opens, choose a location to save the file, which is named bookmarks.html by default. The desktop is usually a good spot, but any place that is easy to remember will work.
- Click . The Export Bookmarks File window will close.
- Close the Library window.
Import bookmarks
- Click the menu button
to open the menu panel. Click and then click the bar at the bottom. - The Bookmarks Library window will open. From the toolbar in the Library window, click
Import and Backup and choose - Within the Import Bookmarks File window that opens, navigate to the bookmarks HTML file you are importing and select the file.
- Click the button. The Import Bookmarks File window will close.
